Poeta.

From Melbourne to East Gippsland with her family in early 2020, Poeta couldn’t be happier to put her roots down in Metung and give her young family the country lifestyle she knows they need as much as they want.

A primary school and yoga teacher who has always loved what yoga gave to her physically from her early 20’s.

“I’ve always been drawn to more yang style classes and how my body responded from these. However with teaching as well as practicing yoga, I have realised the journey that comes with the territory of your own yoga experience and love all the gifts it grants me”

It wasn’t until her teacher training in prenatal yoga that Poeta realised what it was that was missing in her purpose and passion for teaching. Now out of the classroom and extending her love and knowledge of yoga to all ages, Poeta couldn’t be more fulfilled.

With classes available for children, adults of all ages and abilities, as well as specialist prenatal and postnatal to support the journey of every mother, Poeta is dedicated in ensuring everyone can access yoga at any stage of their lives.

House of Yoga, Metung has been Poeta’s dream and she is very excited to share it, her knowledge and the joy of yoga with her local community and visitors to the area.

“I am creating a space; a home away from your own that you can connect with, feel welcomed and supported and leave feeling nourished from the inside out”

Nestled amongst the gums and an established native garden, this yoga studio will evoke balance and peace within all.

Poeta and her family look forward to welcoming you.

Mollie.

Mollie has been practicing Yoga for 10 years & believes in the power that a regular practice can have, on the mind, body & soul.

As she travelled the world from her late teens to early 20s the desire to teach became strong, her relationship with her Yoga mat was one she couldn’t live without, a feeling of returning home every time her practice commenced. She knew this feeling had to be shared so eventually settled on the Mornington Peninsula where she completed her Yoga teacher training and received her 200 hour qualification from Yoga Alliance.

Mollie relocated to Metung in 2021 with her family, for a slower & more grounded way of life- a way to create more space and time for the things in life that truly matter. This is also the way that she views teaching her Yoga classes- a way to create more space and time, a chance to be present, ground, BREATHE & BE.

Mollie likes to teach creative & flowing classes with a strong connection to breath and moving energy around the body. Mollie has 2 little Yogi’s of her own, forever teaching her the importance of presence and the power of breath. She feels strongly about connecting with other mothers, supporting them & sharing her Yoga knowledge as they navigate their journey through motherhood together.

Mollie is excited to be teaching & practicing at House of Yoga & joining everyone on their Yoga journey.
